Chinese Money Boost, Helps Spanish Football Club

Xu Genbao’s influence and financial power has given another boost to Spanish Segunda B side Lorca FC.

The experienced Chinese ex player and manager who now controls the reigns at Lorca FC has pulled off a coup in the short term signing of Chilean International centre half José Rojas for six months from Argentinian side Belgrano.

The veteran defender who has spent most of his career in his native Chile with Universidade de Chile pulling on the shirt 357 times with 5 goals to his name, then moving to Argentine club top tier club Belgrano appearing on 23 occasions in the Primera Division.

The move will give the Lorca side some great experience in the quest for a play-off place at the end of the season, Rojas made 24 appearances for his national side so Xu Genbao and his coaching staff will no doubt hope this will help his team mates cope and deal with the pressure ahead.

Rojas, who is a free agent has signed a deal until the end of this season but with an option for another year for both him and the club. The contract is reportedly in the region of €150,000 per year.
